I am thinking of starting to get rid of hair "down there" and I need some tips.?

I am thinking about either waxing or shaving.

Please let me know what you do, each step of the way ( i hear some people sit in hot baths for a while) and what products SPECIFICALLY you use to prevent irritation or little red bumps that I hear people get.

first of all why would you want to shave your feet. it just doesnt make sense.

Shave.

Use a hand mirror so as to not cut yourself.

Shaving cream.

Warm water.

And in the end, put some men's aftershave (sounds weird but it prevents red bumps).

Use a good moisturizer/lotion. Shaving is good to do if you are willing to sit down and be very careful. Waxing costs money and can be very painful but gets rid of it quick.

Start with just trimming it short...as a man, I man-scape it close. This will reduce the chance of ingrown hairs. Then eventually just use a razor and clean it up.

for the love of god, DON'T SHAVE.

i have two words for you: razor. burn.

wax. please wax.

but if for some reason you absolutely must shave then afterwards put some unscented gel deoderant on the area and a bit of baby powder.

but for real, there is stubble by the next morning and that doesn't feel to hot. try waxing.

GOOD LUCK %26lt;3

you have a lot of hair on your feet?

If you're going to shave make sure the razor is brand new. Old razors do not work as well. Lather the area with soap or shaving cream (they make shaving creams for your bikini area). Soap lather is good, but shaving cream is best. Trim the area as close as possible befor you shave... and for heaven's sake... Be careful!!!

If you're going to wax, it's best to let a professional handle it for you. Check your local yellow pages for a licensed esthitician. If you're too shy and insist on waxing yourself, it's best to apply heat to the area before you wax. It opens the poes enough for the hair to be ripped out with only minimal irritation.

My advise, if your going to shave, shave and be careful. Take your time or have your partner do it. If you want to prevent the irritation and red bumps, don't shave again for about 2 weeks. This gives the area time to heal. It also helps to use new razors and plenty of moisture.

I do it in the shower. Lather with soap and use a razor very carefully. Don't rush go very slow so as not to cut yourself. Ouch!!!

Afterwards put a gentle mositurising cream on the area, nothing perfumed or scented.
