HAIRSPRAY!! Spray some hairspray on a towel, and just rub the stain..It may not come completely off, but it helps alot...

I have been dying my hair black for years and I just use an old washcloth and liquid soap to get any excess off. It's always worked for me. Good luck..

hi there! firstly, you really shouldn't be dying your hair straight black! there is no such thing as real black hair! that dark of hair is a mixture of very dark browns and black, a lot of the black dyes have a base color of either blue or violet. who heard of that color? it will show especially in the sunlight! go the very darkest brown that you can or at least mix half and half. as for getting the stain off your skin, save a tad bit of developer (the white creme). when totally finished--dab a cotton ball or tissue in solution and apply to stained area. don't leave on too long for it it burn the skin! leave on just as log as it takes for it to remove the stain, then wash area with soap and water--pat dry and moisturize. this answer is from a licensed hair designer! best of luck ---and know this will work for you! vicki

my advice is to have it done professionally. hair becomes really brittle if it isn't treated right.
