if you want waves, and not curls, try a large curling iron, and to different little waves in different directions , spray in leace in conditioner, make sure they are how you want them, then use some hairspray.

You want nice hair in late august or early september at the beach. Good luck with that. Get a perm sometime between now and next month (about1 month before the wedding) and have you hair styled professionally on the day of the ceremony. The wind and the humidity may not be kind so you will have to roll with the punches and let mother nature do her thing.

Depending on if your doing it yourself or not. If your doing it then you need to put hot rollers medium size and you heat them then you put it in your hair roll it up till the corner of your eye, I mean the level don't go all the way up to the crown. then you leave it in and let it set for 1 hour then undo it and with your fingers loosen them a little bit and then spary it with hair spray to keep it in place. If you don't wnat to spend money on buying hot rollers you could the night before your wedding twist your hair in sections all over your head(you maye need somone to help you do the back of your hair) then pin it with hair pins and, but spray it with some kinda of holding spray not hairspray then then do that. cover with a scarf so the swists don't come undone while you sleep, then in the morning undo your hair and with your fingers loosen the curls and spray with hair spary. You could try both of those looks before you get married and see if the look will work for you. better yet get a hairdresser to do it for you it will be less drama for you, you can just relax while someone who knows what they are doing can do your hair, at least that way you will get a professional look. try using styrofoam rollers but apply them very loosely. thats all i can think of right now.
