Im hi-liting my hair blonde pretty soon does anybody have any tips to make the outcome better ?

1. Have it done professionally

2. Use shampoo and conditioner and styling products for chemically treated hair

3. Maintain your highlights--dont let the roots grow out too far, that looks so tacky.

I have highlights and though they look good, they are expensive and time consuming.......actually with winter coming soon, your hair should be darker and save the highlights for spring and summer months.

Do NOT wash your hair the day before. The highlights will not last as long.

Deep condition and use a protien reconstructor a week or two before; and continue usage afterwards. That will make your hair's quality a lot better....

Let the professionals do it! and i would keep it light and natrual looking, like the sun did it. Honeys are gorgeous! then get a shampoo and conditioner that will keep up the color. i like Redken Color Extend. it truley makes a difference! and with blonde deep condition it maybe once a week.

find a beauty school drop out who knows how to use foils - she won't charge you much and might do a better job than a professional. - Well, my hair girl is awsome. She works at a beauty shop - maybe you could find one there...

make the hightlight small and out more in
