i have reallllllllllllllllllly thick hair how to i straighten it first of all bacasue i straighten it and it just curls right back up again and how do i curl it without making me look like i have a fro LOL PLEASE HELP!!!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I suffer from thick hair too.

Some may say its a blessing but I dont think so.

my hair stylist washed my hair using biolage color care shampoo and conditioner, because the color care it more gentle for hair that is being damage by heat constantly.

So biolage may help.

Also be sure to be using a good straightener.

Dont be afraid to go the extra mile and give up 100 bucks for a high quality flat iron.

It will be worth it in the end. Also do your hair in layers, like take all but the bottom layer of hair and pull it back, then straighten this layer (after putting on some spray that protects your hair from the heat) continue straightening a bit at a time.

Try not to shampoo everytime you shampoo.

Greasy hair looks better straightened because the flat iron tends to dry it out. Dry hair just turns into a fuzzball.

Ok u must have a bad straightener because the same thing happened to me!! i wannit to staighten it and the it would curl back REALLY quickly if u buy a straighner for like 100-140 bucks from the compony CHI its REALLY REALLY good!!

What you could do is make an appointment with your hairdresser and ask her to clean it up and ask for her to thin out your hair. My hair is naturall curly haha, which is A PAIN. But I love it sometimes, more lately because my hairdresser thinned it out. Instead of it being really thick, it's much thinner and easier to handle and style. Good luck!

Go by layers of your hair! dats how i do it and if you want to curl it....curl ur hair everywhere doesn't matter it looks pretty my sis has thick hair and she straighteneds her hair by layers too!!! TRY IT!!!!!!

choose one... curl it or straighten it, if you do both, it will damage your hair
