Whatever you do with your hair, your opinion is the only one that matters. On a personal note, I think your's would look cool with black tips. It's an edgy style, yet there's no trouble with maintaining it, unlike dying your roots. I say go for it. I'm a big fan of dark undertones, and no, and I don't think they're tacky =)

um...it'd look kinda funny....I'd suggest brown hair, then starting from front, blond, then black, then white

Hmm... depends. If you've got a darker brown color, I'd say yeah, try it out. But if you have a dirty blondish-light brown hair color--nah.

I think it would look like you burnt the ends of you hair. Maybe try a lighter color like carmel.
