dont do it, its really hard to get it out. if you want to do it maybe use a semi-permanent dye to see if you like it first.

ya. make sure this is REALLLLLLYYYYY what you want because if you dont - theres no way to reverse it. oh sure they'll tell ya you can strip your hair and re-dye it or not but it will be thrashed !

I would suggest going darker in steps..like dye your hair a shade darker and see how you like it. Then keep doing it until it is as dark as you want. If you go black right away, there's a chance you won't like it. Speaking from experience, I know black is really hard to get out, so be very cautious. Also, dyed black hair tends to look very inky and fake, so it's best to go for a very dark brown.
