What are some tips on how I can grow my hair REALLY long & healthy to prevent damage/split ends?

I mean, how can your hair grow LONG %26amp; healthy if they say the only way to reduce damage/split ends is to trim it every 6 WEEKS? Wouldn't that mean your hair will never grow really long? %26amp; who LITERALLY trims their ends EVERY 6 weeks-when it comes to females growing or TRYING to grow long hair? 1 advantage I have is that I don't use relaxers, so my hair is 100% natural. My hair is a little past my shoulders now, but I'm trying to get it to be waist length. I see plenty of beautiful Black women with long, healthy hair %26amp; keep it UP nicely.

Ok...first, to stop so many split ends...when you shampoo and condition your hair...condition from the ends up to the scalp. Reason being is...your scalp produce moisture and sweat all ready...when it does none of that moisture really get to the ends...so balance it out. Your ends need that moisture...that how split end occur...think of the desert, it's all cracked and dry because of lack of rain and moisture. And yes your right there are some women who don't keep up w/ there trimming ends every 6 weeks. But this is why I recommend investing in a regular stylist that you can trust with not only the beauty of your hair but also the health. They will keep up with your trims. And the reason you see some of us black women with long beautiful hair is because we do consistently keep up with our trims...this is how we were raise. And before taking any hair vitamins...do your research. Good Luck!!!

use hair vitamin especially on ur ends after shampoo,n dont shampoo too much,plus trim the ends if it looks finer or split ends avery 6-8 weeks
