Cutting hair to often will negate any effects of it gorwing longer. Honostly, I only cut mine two to three times a year. If taken care of well split ends shouldn't be a problem. Most products that claim they grow hair faster are gimmicks. It is controlled by genetics so there is not much you can do. (If ther was some way to get long hair overnight I would have tried it.
