Koolaid hair problem?

I am going to dye my hair tips about 2'' up with purple koolaid. My hair color is a mix of light brown and blond. How long should i leave it in? Dont answer by saying i should buy real hair dye or that i am crazy, it is just for fun!

Koolaid hair problem?

it won't show, your hair is too dark

Koolaid hair problem?

dont put the full amount of water... make sure its really strong. (and leave out the sugar!) lol unless you plan to drink it afterwards

Koolaid hair problem?

ok i hate telling you this, but if the part of your hair that is blonde is a light blonde, don't do it. my friend has hair that seems one step above dirty blonde. she dyed it with koolaid, and had to re-dye it with real dye to get it out. and it was suposed to be green %26amp; it turned out yellow!

but you should let it soak for a couple of hours at least....

Koolaid hair problem?

Well, it depends on the actual color of the tips that you're dying. If their the part that's blond, then maybe an hour. If it's the light brown part you'll probably need closer to two hours.

PS. Don't delude the mix too much. A little bit of water mixed with the Kool-Aid, will give it enough power to make your hair the color you want it.

Koolaid hair problem?

I used to do that when I was in school I have blonde hair and would do the tip red with koolaid. I believe your hair will be too dark for purple to show up.

But what you do is add a little water to the mix. place your hair in the damp mix press mixture into your hair and you can let it sit about a min. however you can't wash the residue out or the koolaid color will go away ...you will need to wipe the excess off with a towel and then comb it . However using koolaid as a dye will cause you hair where the koolaid is applied to be knotty. but good luck ...I had fun when I used to do it..

Just pray it doesn't rain... if it does your face and clothes will be dyed also lol ...it rained when I did mine once.

I need some styling tips on how to fix my hair if it is shoulder length.?

idk if cutting it was the best idea?

I need some styling tips on how to fix my hair if it is shoulder length.?

If you can braid then 1 long braid in back is cute and if you french braid even better, and more sophisticated.

I need some styling tips on how to fix my hair if it is shoulder length.?

If you don't already have them. I would get layers cut into it. The best thing to do is give it a little body and curl by putting large hot rollers into it.

I need some styling tips on how to fix my hair if it is shoulder length.?

u can or braid it or put it in a bun or layer it or put it in a ponytail the braid the back.friddle around with your hair and you migth come up with something

I need some styling tips on how to fix my hair if it is shoulder length.?

It depends on what kind of hair you have. If you have thin hair then layers would probably look good on you. I have thick hair and I recently got layers, so beware, if you have curly hair then it will probably get curlier. Layers give volume and body, so don't get them if your hair is already poofy.

Tips on how to grow out a balck persons hair tell u like this thick hair oh yeah a web site too?

I can't follow what your saying. Please re-write.

Tips on how to grow out a balck persons hair tell u like this thick hair oh yeah a web site too?

Everyone's hair grows at the same rate, it's just easier to see when white peoples hair gets longer because it dosn't kink up. if you were to keep your hair straight for a year you would be able to see it grow just as well as a white persons. So anyway, a good way to make ANYONE'S hair grow is to take a multi vitamin that includes zink. also there is this pill made from whale blubber or something from sweeden that makes all your hair grow like crazy. I was taking it for a while and i was shaving my legs like every day as opposed to every two or three. and plucking my eyebrows more often and everything. anyway hope that helped.

Does anyone have any tips for faster growth of long hair?

The best way to make your hair grow, especially if it's long, is by trimming the ends. Another way to make it grow, is by braiding it, leaving it all night, and taking the braids out in the morning.

Does anyone have any tips for faster growth of long hair?

try vitamins like biotin and silica

Does anyone have any tips for faster growth of long hair?

How can I get nice hair?

My hair is not damaged, but I want it to be soft, silky, and weightless. Does any one no any ways to have a nice hair style everyday, without getting it cut? Products for hair? Does garnier fructis sleek and shine work for puffy hair? Hair tips?

How can I get nice hair?

I like to style my hair straight. This routine works pretty well for me.

1. Shower in the morning, not at night.

2. Use Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine or Infusium 23 shampoos and conditioners.

3. Put John Freida Extra Strength Frizz Serum on soaking wet hair. Make sure to work it through your hair completely.

4. Work Matrix hair gel through hair while it's still wet. Don't use too much.

5. Leave hair for a couple minutes.

6. Blow-dry while brushing and styling at the same time. Dry completely.

7. Use heat-protective spray or serum on your hair.

8. Divide your hair into top and bottom sections. Clip or pin up the top section. Straighten the bottom then unpin the top. Straighten the top. If your hair is still a little rough or frizzy, use more John Freida serum or some leave-in conditioner on it. (Not too much)

9. Voila!!! Perfect frizz-free, soft, silky, straight hair!!! :)

How can I get nice hair?

dont blowdry it

dont curl or straiten it

use pantien pro-v

no dont use garnier furctis im telling pantien is the ****!!

How can I get nice hair?

i have curly and damage hair and trust me these products like shampoo, and mousse and all are waste of money and makes your hair look nice for a while but they damage it more. i say the best treatment is herbal treatment here are some tips.....

take one egg, 4 table spoon of olive oil, one spoon of yogurt, and squeeze one whole lemon. whisk it properly and start apply its from your scalp and combing it properly so it spread well. wash after one and a half hour. i know it sounds disgusting but trust me you do it once you will want to do it once every month. you don't need to do it so often just once a month.

this one is easy but not so effective......it will last for one wash only, just put mayo in your hair.

now you could also oil your hair regular which is quiet a hassel as you will need to keep that olive oil for 6-8 hours, but it helps, do it once a week.

if you are in a mood to pamper your self go to the salon ask them if they have good herbal hair treatment. hair protein treatment is dawm good as well but will cost you money.

and ofcourse after washing your hair do apply serum its actually good for our hair. my suggestion use john freida or bedhead anti frizz serum only they worl like wonders.

What are some good tips on how to make your hair grow(or get healthy) if you're black(afro-anyt

no offense but i would really appreciate it if only blacks responded to this question

What are some good tips on how to make your hair grow(or get healthy) if you're black(afro-anything)?

I don't know many but I know that you shouldn't wash your hair more than once a week. I recommend usding a hot oil treatment every time you do so as well. Cocunut oil is best for that. Moisturise you hair everyday [ if using a moisturising gloss ] to doso. or every other day if using something heavier. Be aware that using products that are too heavy clog up the follicle , which means the hair that pusehes through will be thinner and weaker.I am black by the way [ Nigerian descent but English nationality.

Getting hair healthy again?

So I just relaxed my hair about a month ago and it looks kinda damenged you no what I mean. Well what can I do to get in healthier looking in just 1 month or less? I will try anything at this point please help me I appriciate it. O and can you give me hair tips on how to make your hair shinnier, prettier, andc duh healthier lol. Thanx for the help 10 points who ever gives the best advice!!!!!!!!!!!1

Getting hair healthy again?

here are some tips:

Avoiding heat and sun

Blow dryers and styling appliances can always damage your hairs so try and make it possible to use a natural way for hair drying. get your hair styling done in a professional manner to minimize the styling experiment you often do with your hairs. and don't forget to keep your hairs covered whenever you are out in sun.

You skin will always be thankful to you if you try to stay in shade hence protecting your hairs and skin from harmful UV rays and heat.

Be gentle with wet hair

When your hairs are wet, they are more prone to entangled, break and split ends. so make sure that you don't brush your hairs while they are wet and entangled. Also don't twist your hair up into a towel when it is wet, instead you can gently squeeze the hair with a towel to remove excess water.

Avoid styling products that contain alcohol Do not forget to check the ingredients and contents of your mousses, gels and sprays to see if they contain alcohol. Alcohol will dry and damage your hair. you can even go for stylist recommendation to use better and safe products.

Have your hair cut regularly

Always remember to trim your hairs within 6 week to keep your hairs well in shape ,in the way you want it. it will not only improve the growth of your hairs but that also in well-defined shape.

Your hair needs moisture

Pamper your hairs with moisturizer, just like you treat the rest of your body. to your surprise even oily hairs needs moisture but in a balanced way. Give your hairs a hot oil treatment at home once a week or at least once a month will keep your hair glossy and prevent dry, split ends, do not forget to use a good conditioner on regular basis according to your skin type and requirement.

Wash your hair gently

Be nice to your hairs by using and cleansing them with a gentle shampoo about twice a month. You can even use a clarifying shampoo for at least 3-5 days a month which will help you routine shampoo to perform bettered not scrub or twist your hairs, give them a gentle massage (remember hairs are more vulnerable when its wet).

Wash your hair at the most 3 times a week becuase it is bad for your hair. Also natural oils are good for your scalp and hair.

Getting hair healthy again?

use a lot of product. shampoo every day. but only condition ever other day. rinse it in cooking oil to make it silky and shiny.

Getting hair healthy again?

to have healthier hair you should oil it and do not put a l9ot of chemicals in it.....

The chemicals are the things that damage your hair..... do not wash it too much....

if you take care of your body then you should take care of your hair as well....

good luck!

Getting hair healthy again?

conditioner, stay in conditioner, and pills called horsetail with silica from vitamin cottage. try to avoid heat products.

Getting hair healthy again?

I've relaxed my hair as well and sad to say, the biggest thing that will help is time and getting hair cuts. :(

In the meantime though, try putting on those mudpacks for hair once a week, only shampoo'ing every 2 days (conditioner the other days) and if your hair is really dull and dry - use Alberto VO5 hairdressing. Seriously! That is the best stuff to make your hair shine if you have dry or thick hair - thin hair, not so much. Those shine sprays don't last very long but the V05 stuff is a type of oil and it lasts all day and doesn't weigh down my hair and it's cheap! I rub it in my hands and through my hair and it works great. Even my hairdresser agrees it's better than the $25 stuff she's supposed to pawn off on me.

Getting hair healthy again?

Here are some homemade recipes for damaged hair:

1. Cover the hair with mayonnaise and leave overnight, then wash in the morning.

2. Take an egg and separate the whites and the yolk. Whip out the whites, then blend the yolk with water in a blender and add the whipped whites. Apply on wet hair, massage and wash with cold water.

3. Mix some olive oil, honey, egg yolk and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Apply on hair and massage; wait 15 minutes and rinse with cold water.

4. Mash avocado, add some olive oil and smear on your hair. Wait for a few minutes and rinse.

5. Mix and warm: 1 teaspoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of sesame oil, and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil. Apply on the hair, wrap with a warm towel for half an hour and rinse with shampoo and water

Or... check out the line that fructis has for dry and damaged hair, their products are my favourite!

Getting hair healthy again?

May I sugest washing it with a little fresh squeezed lemon juice.

1) Squeeze fresh lemon juice into a bowl

2) Wash your hair (shampoo 2 times, condition 1 time)

3) Work in the lemon juice.

4) Let it sit for about 5 minutes

5) Blow dry

6) Enjoy your newly restored hair!!

Getting hair healthy again?

I wish I had excellent advice for you. All I can say is it takes longer than a month! I damaged my hair from perms when I was a teenager. And then a few years ago from coloring and a perm. The way i went to heal it is I had it cut to a bob, around the shoulders. Brush it often. No colors, or perms, or hair products other than shampoo and conditioner. ( I only used hair spray and a curling iron for special occasions. ) By 2 years, my hair was long, (down to my butt) and healthy. So I suggest you cut a few inches off. Brush 3x or more daily. Wash and condition daily. Avoid any styling products (unless necessary, Try not to use water that is too hot. (that will dry it out) I know it is hard to do all that, and you go through a crap stage, but it is sooo worth it. Good luck.

Getting hair healthy again?

If you truly want your hair healthy it's going to take a little longer than one month. You need to start by taking viatims. Pre-natal pills are actually really good at preventing split ends, breakage, etc., and they also make your nails grow really strong and your skin really clear so there are all sorts of advantages included a series to taking pre-natal pills (and don閳ユ獩 let the name fool you - they閳ユ獧e really the best multi-vitamin around). However, if you just want your hair to be pretend healthy you can buy shine serum from your local beauty supply store. Those may run you $12-30. And you do get what you pay for. Be sure to only use a little dab or it will weigh your hair down a lot. While you閳ユ獧e at the store, be sure to pick up a hot oil treatment for your hair too. Be kind to your hair for the time being. No more heat (except blow dryer) for a while. Give it a rest. GL

Getting hair healthy again?

You can go to a salon and have them put a deep conditioning or hot oil treatment. And I would get redken extreme shampoo and conditioner it's in a dark blue bottle and get the leave in conditioner and put that on every day (or every other day if you already have oily hair). You can buy that at any salon, or any beauty supply store in your area.

Getting hair healthy again?

ok, this is a home-made tip, learned it from my grandma, but it keeps my hair healthy and shiny, even after I damage it. this is what you do. take a cup, put one egg inside and enough olive oil to cover the egg. than add just a bit of honey and mix it all up with a fork. put this all over your hair and wap it all up in a plastic bag (it makes it warmer, so the hair absorbs the mix easily). keep it on for about half an hour and than wash it all off. you'll notice at first that the mix gets bubbly like a shampoo when you put water on it (it also smells like shampoo). wash it off with some shampoo and conditioner you usually use (preferably something for damaged hair). trust me, this is not a joke, your hair will look better after you do this only once, if you do it once a week it will soon look excellent! also, henna might work, the original "muddy" type. but this way is the best, it's traditional but works every time!

Getting hair healthy again?

First, you need to trim off all the bad ends. This will make a world of difference. Your hair will look shinier, smoother and healthier. Even if you think it's too much to cut off, do it. You'll have to eventually anyway.

You can also get a color glaze. I like the Brilliant Brunette one. It's about $10 and makes my hair really shiny and pretty.

Hair tip!!!??

My hair is suuper thick! I have a sidebang, but I was thinking I know this girl who has great hair. I love it! Would it look bad with thick hair and a sidebang if I started parting my hair in the middle (even with bangs) and getting long layers in the back, and almost like shaping layers in the front. Could I still straighten it like that too? help!!

Hair tip!!!??

You just decsribed my hair! I have sidebangs and long layers with framing layers in the front I straighten my hair everyday because my hair is curly-wavy(and super duper thick!Like a Lion's mane!). To straighten your hair really straight seperate your hair into different sections. Do it slowly.Over time you can do it in just a couple or mins!! Good Luck!!!

Also don't part your hair in the middle! It looks really bad. Do it where your bangs star so it is just a long line! It looks way better that way!!

Hair tip!!!??

i think you should keep your hair like it is

Hair tip!!!??

your hair sounds so cute..are u sure someone doesnt love your hair?

Hair tip!!!??

you could always straighten your hair the way it is and nicley straightened to if you have a good straightener, it also depends if it looks good to, you could always get your hair thinned to, just don't over do it.

Hair tip!!!??

The bangs would worry me the most. I am having trouble visualizing how side bangs would look once you part your hair in the middle. They will have to be cut differently. I suspect you will have to end up with short bangs. It will look fine with short bangs, just depends on whether you want them or not. As far the layers, it should work out fine. I am assuming that you want to straighten it with a straightening iron. You shouldn't have any problem as long as your stylist knows b4 she makes the first cut.

Any tips on what would remove cat hair from clothing and blankets once they're in washer and dr

Put the clothing/blankets in the dryer on a cool/no heat setting and just tumble them for 10 minutes. The vacuum effect can suck a lot of loose hairs off the dry fabric without the need to wash them. This may not work as well for bulky items like blankets since they dont tumble around as much but it will help

Any tips on what would remove cat hair from clothing and blankets once they're in washer and dryer?

You might want to try Vinegar - say 1/4 cup per full load. Works similar to Cling free sheet in dryer, but maybe in washer it'll lift off the hair. It's worth a shot - won't harm your wash

Any tips on what would remove cat hair from clothing and blankets once they're in washer and dryer?

Really good dryer sheets... (Bounce, Snuggle, etc.).... but use 2 or 3 of them so the anti-static properties will help pull the hair out of the material. May need to run through the dryer twice.

Any tips on what would remove cat hair from clothing and blankets once they're in washer and dryer?

Since I have 2 long hair cats I come across this problem alot myself. There are a few things that you can try....

1. Buy one of those lint rollers they anywhere from $1.99-5.99

2. Grab a roll of duct tape, wrap around your hand sticky side facing out of course.

3. SQUEEGEE- it may sound strange but this is the best thing I have found so far. Just like washing your windshield, do the same with your clothes, furniture etc. You'll be amazed how much hair is collected from with it.

just go bye clothes dye and dye them black thats all .:)

I have a pair of blue jean pants i got black hair dye stain on them any tips?

try using rubbing alcohol to remove the stain. I know it works on permanent marker stains

I have a pair of blue jean pants i got black hair dye stain on them any tips?

Unfortunately it will be hard to find soemthing that will sucesssfully take the dye out of the jeans and not ruin the jeans.

There are number of things you can do ... Torn jeans are in and so you can rip the section of jean that was died and do another cit of rips on the jeans. Fading/rubbing look on jeans is in you can fade the part of the jeans that are dyed if it isn't too large. Consider just dyeing the pants black.

There's a dye called Rit that removes colour from jeans :

Purchase 2 items by Rit, found in the supermarket laundry aisle. 1st is Rit Color Remover which removes dye from clothes. 2d get Rit Jet Black or Black Denim Dye and follow package directions. The cost is minimal and the time is only several machine wash cycles. Good Luck!

I have a pair of blue jean pants i got black hair dye stain on them any tips?

I assume it has dried by now? Not much can be done, stains love cotton...soaks it up like a sponge. Try a new look for the pants, bleach and dye them. Maybe try a few more stain spots on them before you start the process.

I have a pair of blue jean pants i got black hair dye stain on them any tips?

Keep washing them. Eventually the dye will slowly fade away.

I have a pair of blue jean pants i got black hair dye stain on them any tips?

cover it with a cute applique of fabric paint something over it.

I have a pair of blue jean pants i got black hair dye stain on them any tips?

wash the spot with a brillo pad untill it goes away that work for me with nail polish

I have a pair of blue jean pants i got black hair dye stain on them any tips?

carpet cleaner works everytime ... works for spots on the carpet too.. be careful on fine fabrics.

I have a pair of blue jean pants i got black hair dye stain on them any tips?

Wash immediately in cold water, air dry, never dry in dryer it will set the stains.

!0 points for hair question?

same-ish!! try ton of dif. products to help with the frizz. just don't use one that ways down the hair too much. i use a curl cream that helps with frizz and my curls. you might try to straighten it, it helps keep it less frizzy. the drawback is that it damages the hair. good luck!! :D

!0 points for hair question?

DEFINATELY

I have the EXACT same problem,

1. I use Herbal Essences Pin Straight Shampoo and conditioner

and I always blow dry my hair NEVER straighten

2. I either use Suave Professionals Anti-Frizz cream (put it on when your hair is dry)

or Murrays Beeswax - Cream (( the suave one is less expensive)) but they both work pretty well

dont think so, if your using wefts just make sure ur puttin the glue on thick and dont do it when your hair or the weft is damp.

wen putting it on hold it for a while then leave it for a good while till its dried as brushin or fiddling will weaken the bond!

hope this helps!

i don't know about dominican hair, but if you see someone with dominican hair that you really like, you could ask her where she goes to get it done. you could also use the pantene line formulated specially for african american hair, since your hair is relaxed and coarse. also avoid blowdrying and straight ironing as much as possible, because since your hair is already chemically treated it is much more prone to breakage.

I don't eat the veggies or fruit very often (though you should!!) but water is the fountain of beauty!! I'm not kidding!

Great skin, great hair, great nails... and it helps you lose weight if you that's what you want!

Drink lots of water!!

I want to get the most out of my skin and hair could you give me some tips and advice?

Don't expect anything unrealistic from it. My hair will never be wavy, for example, so I have to work with it being stick straight. Nourish it from the inside first...get all your vitamins and minerals, because they will keep skin, hair and nails glowing. Consider an essential fatty acids supplement...they help keep skin soft and hair shiny. Drink lots of water and don't eat trans fat. Wear sunscreen and don't smoke. To make sure that you're using the right products for your skin, see if you can get a consultation. Even the ladies that work at the drugstore cosmetics counters know alot of stuff that will help you pick out the best lotions, washes, exfoliants, etc. And smile!...that always helps your whole face brighten.

Any tips to take care of dry hair?

Use a moisture infused shampoo and conditioner such as the ThermaSilk shampoo and conditioner line. It's a little bit more expensive then the regular shampoos, but it's totally worth it. It also protects from heat styling, so it won't dry out your hair. You can also use BioSilk (not related to ThermaSilk) on your hair when it is wet OR dry (make sure to only use a dime sized amount). It makes it silky and soft. It's also pretty expensive at some stores like Target and Walmart (can be $15.00 for the small bottle), but you can get it at Costco for a better price. I use both of these products, and they work SO well!

Any tips to take care of dry hair?

Dry hair is caused by heat, an open cuticle, chemicals applied to the hair, and poor maintenance.

SOLUTIONS:

1) Less or no heat. When blow drying, use a cooler setting and do not blow dry until the is completely dry.

2) Use acidifiers. Acidifiers close the cuticle down and lock in moisture. Acidifiers have a pH of 2.5 to 3.5. They have a lower pH than hair does in an aqueous solution.

3) Color, perms, relaxers, and other chemicals are sometimes a necessary evil. They rob the hair of humectants. Humectants attract and retain moisture (water) in the cortical layer of the hair. Try to use low ammonia -low peroxide color. Do not leave neutralizer on too long with perms. If possible avoid relaxers.

4) Treat your hair. Replace lost humectants with essential fatty acids (lipids), acidify your hair, use low pH products, use cool water. Replace what was taken out to make your hair dry. Also eat a diet full of essential fatty acids (in moderation and non-animal {no cholesterol}).

RECOMMENDATIONS:

1) Get a good low pH shampoo. High pH shampoos lift the cuticle allowing moisture to evaporate. Here are a few great shampoos for dry hair:

Sunset Hair Elements (Moisturizing) Shampoo (Best Pick)

Matrix Biolage Hydrating Shampoo

Paul Mitchell Moisture and Shine (Creatives)

Redken Moisturizing Shampoo

2) Replace lipids. Your scalp produces sebum. This is the hairs' natural source of lipids or essential fatty acids (EFA's.) If your hair grows past your neck line; The hair makes no or little contact with the body. If you use heat (irons, rollers, blow drying), your hair will get depleted of EFA's.

Sunset Hair Elements (Vanilla Bean) Treatment

Paul Mitchell Hair Repair

3) Acidify. Acidifiers lock the lipids and moisture in the cortex. They are probably the single most important step to good hair. They maintain good hair.

Sunset Hair Elements Hair Re-Balancer

Nexxus Ensure

Redken Extreme

Paul Mitchell "The Rinse"

4) Other -

1/2 teaspoon of safflower oil taken orally a day ( you may build up to 1-2 tablespoons)

or

Omega-3 supplements. They will help you reduce heart attacks by 50% too! (as per CNN)

my hair gets like that occasionally and i will either shampoo it with mayonaisse, then reg shampoo or what i have done lately is use skin so soft from avon. i got the bath oil in a spray bottle and will spray my hair, especially the ends, and leave it in as long as i can stand it. when i can't handle having my hair feel oily, i'll shampoo it out. it shines for days, but more importantly gets the protein it needs. i have heard ppl putting their hair in a bag with eggs, but it's too messy for me. treat your hair like a plant, don't overabuse it and give it the nutrients it needs.

Any tips for making outfits and looking good?

i loooooove shopping so much and i buy cute stuff, but some how i always end up wearing the same few things. I need to know how to buy cute clothes that i can layer with tank tops and wear a with bunch of different things(eg. a nice shirt that i can layer with several shirts, different pants etc.) I also suck at accesorising!!! I need help on what kind of jewelery to buy and how to put things together. Also thing for just looking good in general, like tips and stuff. In my area alot of the style (for girls) is like skater girly if that make sense, but i can be preppy to a little bit and we do follow some trends(leggings, flats stuff like that) any help is appreciated. oh im in grade eight so im 13, and i also wanna know where i can get cute shoes like low heels and flats, wedges.hair tips to, and where to get good smelling lotion and perfume, give me examples.

thank you soooooo much school starts next week so i need help soon.

Any tips for making outfits and looking good?

Well layering can be a bit annoying occasionally, I've bought several tops, thinking, wow these will look great under clothing piece x/y/z just to get home and found they were the same cut at the front, son not visible at all peeking out on top, nor long enough to be seen peeking out at the bottom or the wrong shade of a particular colour.

When shopping to layer, you have to be quite conscious of what you already have in your wardrobe- unless of course you are buying two pieces together in which it is easy enough to find out whether or not it works.

Make sure tht you are not only buying it because it's cute but that you have something to wear with it, so after the first enthusiastic response to it, step back look at it and ask yourself, what will I wear it with. Think of the possible options and think about whether material, length and cut will go wit h tops you have already.

Start of with things that have similar material and shades, it's easier to do, very course and very fine material can be layered together but it takes a bit more practice to pull off successfully.

Have a look at a colour wheel to get a better idea of what colours will go, while similar colours are easy enough to spot, it will you to find contrasting colours that can be worn together and colours that may clash. It may seem basic but it's important.

Have a look at this site:

http://www.greatestlook.com/colormatchin...

Try not to put black with colour, it often cheapens the colour, especially if you are dealing with a bright pink or red, go with silver, white or grey.

Some shops actually sell camis or tanks specifically for layering which are longer than usual so are more likely to work well:

http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/product.do...

http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/product.do...

If you want camis that look out over the top of the shirt you are wearing above it can look nice to have a bit of lace or other detail around the the top.

Accessorising is just a matter of practice really and the type of accessories you choose depend heavily on what style you are. Again, you can either go with trying to match the colour you are wearing or contrast it. What also works well is going with neutrals, choclate brown, beige and silver especially work well with a range of colours.

Mixing the style of your accessories can look a bit odd, say if you have a chunky wooden bead necklace and dainty silver earrings or even just accessories (excluding shoes and bags) so necklace and earrings especially of different colours can look a bit odd.

Have a look at other peoples outfits and see what you like and dislike and what they do for accessories.

Places like http://www.polyvore.com or http://www.mystylediary.net/Default.aspx let you look through a lot of outfits and could be quite helpful in doing that.

If you find any of my ramblings helpful, this is my profile at polyvore:

http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/profile?id=3...

If not, maybe you can find better inspiration on the rest of the site.

Nice smelling lotion, I LOVE Bodyshop (http://www.thebodyshop.com/) although it can be quite pricey but most of the time it is worth it, I especially love the cocoa butter and e-vitamin range, it's some of the only moisturisers that actually work for me (I have very dry skin). I love the subtle smell of the cocoa butter and the fact that it isn't greasy and absorbs quickly:

http://www.thebodyshop.com/bodyshop/brow...

I don't get a lot of stuff there, it's just not in my budget but I do get the odd thing to subsidise my cheaper stuff.

They also have perfume and you can actually buy a little set of fragances that you can use to combine to make your very own individual scent (again, not that cheap):

http://www.thebodyshop.com/bodyshop/brow...

For popular perfumes for teens, this is apparently the top ten list:

http://parentingteens.about.com/od/toppi...

http://cheerleading.about.com/od/cheersh...

Though obviously, choosing a perfume just because it is on a list is a very bad idea as a perfume is a very individual choice, it might help getting you started.

Looking good in general; it might sound stupid but sleep is actually quite a factor, there are very few people who can party through the night and look gorgeous the next day (me not being one of them, I look like death warmed up). Get a good moisturiser, your skin looks better if it is moisturised although it may not feel that different.

If you wear makeup, don't forget to take it off before you go to bed, it's better for your skin and saves you from waking up to panda eyes (http://www.visit4info.com/sitecontent/TN... ).

When buying make-up, if you are getting stuff that you will use often and covers a lot of your skin, try to get good quality.

Hope I helped a little.

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

Lol, I know this sounds like a weird question, but I'm tired of not getting noticed because I don't wear the slutty/preppy/girly clothes the other girls my age do- don't get me wrong, though, I'm not trying to become one of them.

So, got any tips for clothes, hair, etc..? I'm allergic to some makeup, and I don't really have enough time in the morning, so I don't wanna wear makeup. And, I'm on a limited budget for clothes. By the way, my hair's about an inch or so past my shoulders, pretty thick, and straight if you have any hair tips for it. Can anyone help? Thanks ahead. :)

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

sure looking good is a plus to get noticed.. but the best thing that comes out, is that you feel confident about yourself =)

i would recommend.. get a few of your friends together and have them accessorize you , they know you well so i'm sure your will know what style suits you. =)

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

1) Before buying make-up check out some of the ingrediants

2) Try to add some accessories to your outfit

3) match your clothing

Good Luck!

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

curl your hair, give it a girly look. you dont have to wear makeup to be girly, just wear cute dangling earings or mabye a long bead pink necklace. maybe try some cheap skirts and maybe top that all off with some heels for a femine look!! good luck!

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

Pony tail?

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

i too used to be a tom-boy :]

i start out as wearing skorts

u know the one with shorts inside ur skirt :]

and lip balm or lip gloss to add color and glossy

u can always do ur hair on the bus

like a side ponytail

if pacsun is great! wear bermuda pants with a collar shirt or just a tank top simple simple

clothes u know u can also wear some jeweries

from claires ( they have sensitive ones for people like me) accessorize urself a lil bit and u'll look girly :] and

wear body spray or perfumeS!

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

here what i would say

1. wear head bands- they are easy, keep hair out of face and look cute and are cheep

2. curls and wear mascara- i doesn't take long at all and it will give you and extra oopf

3. i would find i cute sneaker- i like vans but if not just some fashionable sneak cause they say with the more tomboy look

4. wear tight jeans- they dont have to b skin tight but they should show off ur good figure!

5. tees tees and more tees! i mean the cute kind that are shirts and not the dumb ones with lil sayings on them.

6. haf up and haf down with the haf up in a messy bun always looks cute, pulling just the front hair in a boby pin looks cute, and wear it down is always cute

no matter what you shouldnt change who u r! and add a lil lip gloss too!

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

Just add a few accesories to your normal outfits...maybe earrings or necklaces. Layer tops(tank tops, spaghetti straps, t-shirts). Layering is very girly. I don't know what you usually wear but just try to throw something a little girly into it....Like if you wear big shirts and jeans trade the big shirt for a tank top or cute t-shirt. I hope that helps....Good luck! And don't change who you are....

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

keep it simple but make them wonder at the same time throw your hair up in a loose ponytail with a couple of strands hanging down in the front kinda like bangs wear a clear lip gloss and maybe a little mascara a little goes a long way wear a pair of nice fitting jeans that sit on your hips and a shirt that comes down in the front in a v shape and it at the top of th e jeans so you don't show your stomach off but still show your figure wear a pair of heels to lift your butt and make your legs look long and slender you can look so called girly and still keep your boyish way and get noticed by keeping it simple, natural, and keeping them wondering.

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

I have the same problem I am very much of a tomboy and for my job I have to look girly I personally dont wear make up I think it rediculous but if you just buy funky belts and shoes hairbands etc. you can look a little girly without going over the top, and not looking slutty/preppy etc.

If anymore ?'s just contact me at blackmanobrien@yahoo.com

I know how you feel!

your friend,

Alix T.

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

Okay hun, I'm sorry but you gotta wear a little makeup...it only takes 5 minutes to put on so base and mascara...DO IT! Almay brand is hypoallergenic so you wont be allergic to it. Wear some jewelry and tight jeans. You can be tomboyish and still look like a girl.

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

girl when it comes to looking "girly" you are basically already half way there. To be totally honest with you I also am a self-proclaimed "tom boy" who just turned in the b-ball shorts for knee long skirts (if you like that sort of thing). But honestly alls it really takes to look like the rest is some good pair of jeans and a fitted shirt, that's the way I go.It is girlie, stylish, and comfortable because you're not trying to push it with the "girl" thing. As for make-up, not a fan either, truthfully you don't need it most females when they reach a certain age go with out or just a little eye make-up and chap stick.

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

i have the same problem but i have fixed it

your hair is like mine so what you should do is maybe get some lyers or highlights(temp. if first just to try it out)

For clothes i would go to maybe hollister or abercrombie clerence racks and just pick out what you like

and makeup well i dont really wear make up i just wear eyeliner but some girls dont need make up to make them pretty so if you are under the age of 12 i wouldnt wear n e because if you start wearing make up too early than when you get older your face starts to look older than you really are!!

brever creeks go with anything weather your a tom boy or prep

just dont wear tennis shoes i would wear like skate shoes or flip flops or maybe even flats

just wear what you want and dont worry bout what other people think!!!

Good luck with your new style(lol)

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

hair-curl it twisties midway braids scrunch it with hair gel and mousse first your hair must be wet and then take some hair gel and mousse and put it in ur hair and scrunch it and then then add some hairspray and then blowdry and scrunch it that'll look really nice! Or get ur hair layered with side bangs that'll look nice too

clothes-skirts tight jeans halter tops tee's with cute slogans for ex:brown eyes hypontize (i have that shirt),tank tops, anyways try going shopping at some of these stores like hollister, aeropostale, American eagle, abercrombie and fitch,

make-up- look at some of the ingredents and get the ones ur not allergic to,wear mascara eyeshadow blush lipgloss

thats about it and get ur nails done or sumthing u knoe some ppl take me as a girl girl not really but i am girlish lol

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

Hrm...well, you could go with the minimum make up of using:

eyeliner and foundation w/powder. Try looking into different make up (neutrogena is a pretty decent company).

Hairwise - maybe get it layered? Try to wear it down instead of a pony tail all the time. Go for volume instead of flat.

Clotheswise - try more clothes that are fitted to your body.

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

Skorts rock you can look "girly" yet slide into second base or rule the b ball court without "shoeing off" more than your skills. aslo what's wrong with pony tails? high up. or part in ponytail the rest down

I'm kind of a tomboy- got any tips for looking more girl-ish?

Look around you at the boys - if they wear it, you shouldn't - if you want to be more girlish. Avoid jeans and other unisex clothing when you want to feel more feminine.

Wear jewelry - earrings, and a necklace or pretty ring [ not one that looks like Tony Soprano ].

Long hair is a definite plus - most guys prefer it. Learn to braid, ponytail, pullback; anything that requres a hair accessory.

Makeup would be a plus; there are a lot of hypoallergenic products out there [ read the labels ] Definitely practice mascara, blush, lipstick for special occasions.

Buy ' girl' shoes - not flip-flops or sneakers.

They don't have to have heels or pointy toes, just buy cute, comfy ones.

Hair problems!?

http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff105...

This is me and my hair..

I straighten it so it looks much better.

I have one problem.

I wax it, spray it with hairspray, looks great.

Go to school, into the cold.

By the time I get home, my hair is messy and curly and its pissing me off because its hideous :(

Any hair tips!?!

I need badly

Hair problems!?

Next time you go to buy hair products, ask the stylist or clerk what products have a humectant. Products with this quality will fight against the outdoor elements. If there isn't any product available, ask for the driest paste and/or hair spray available. This should help unless you live in Florida like conditions.....nothing can fight that humidity. Good luck

Hair problems!?

ok...

never sleep with ur hair still wet (like after a shower)

because no amount of wax or straightening can ever fix that.

try http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh...

omg it smeels amazing and use ur wax with it if u have to but that stuff really works

Hair tangled :(?

anybody have hair tips of how to keep ure hair untangled??? i have really long hair, and its very tangly. thanx!!

Hair tangled :(?

There are many reasons why someone's hair tends to be tangly. Overprocessed (heavily highlighted, permed) hair tangles very easily. Adding a small amount of protein to your routine will strengthen it back up (but not too much, because too much protein can crystalize and cause breakage). Other things, such as excessively dry hair, possibly caused by chlorine buildup causes tangles as well. Try using a clarifying shampoo once a week for deep cleansing and removal of buildup if you think that could be the problem (but use caution if you have chemically treated hair, because clarifying cleansers will fade your color, so once a week on that would be fine). Some hair types are just prone to dryness leading to tangles. Very long hair tangles more because it has been through more trauma (brushing, blowdrying, flatironing, coloring, etc) because it has been on your head for so long. Try regular trimming. Another suggestion, after shampooing, towel dry your hair very well before applying a good conditioner, leave it in several minutes then rinse with as cool of water as you can stand. Be gently when towel drying your hair, use a leave in condtioner after you wash your hair, and don't ever use a brush on wet hair! This can cause breakage because wet hair is more fragile, use a wide tooth comb instead.

Hair tangled :(?

In the shower, brush conditioner through it.

Hair tangled :(?

you can use johnson and johnson detangler spray

Hair tangled :(?

Yes Gracie is right. I keep a wide tooth comb in my shower.

Hair tangled :(?

you can use little kid detangler thats what i use

Hair tangled :(?

detangler

Hair tangled :(?

Use extra conditioner. Also you can buy aussie detangler from your local drug store or superstore.

Hair tangled :(?

when u put conditioner, let it sit in there

for a while. also, brush your hair out at least 3 times a day.

Hair tangled :(?

Come your hair with conditioner in it . Also try using shampoo such as Dr.Miracles or use John Frieda products.

Hair tangled :(?

brush

Hair tangled :(?

I usually conditoin it, then brush, then blow dry, then brush again, and then straighten,

Hair tangled :(?

When you sleep put your hair into braids so it won't tangle. When you travel you can braid your hair or keep it up in a bun, cute bun not an old lady one.

Go to the beauty store and ask them for a product that keeps your hair from tangling or makes it easy to comb it out without looking oily. Always comb your hair starting at the ends and work your way to the scalp. Do sections at a time trying not to rip your hair.

Any tips on how to make your hair grow fast? i get it trimmed about once every 2 months, but it doesnt help.?

i have read that in the shower

if you take an extra minute to message

your scalp it stimulates the blood flow

and it helps increase hair growth.

good luck!

Any tips on how to make your hair grow fast? i get it trimmed about once every 2 months, but it doesnt help.?

Getting your hair trimmed makes your hair grow faster.....that is a total myth. There are a couple of ways to enhance hair growth:

1. Try to get a head massage every once in a while, maybe by a bf or good friend. Or if not, do it in the shower while washing your hair.

2. Take vitamins that promote healthy hair, usually found at GNC stores.

Any tips on how to make your hair grow fast? i get it trimmed about once every 2 months, but it doesnt help.?

after taking a shower..let ur hair dry naturally then put baby oil!!

it has vitamin c whichs helps hair grow and be stronger

ohh and if u braid ur hair alot..it grows...!!

Any tips on how to make your hair grow fast? i get it trimmed about once every 2 months, but it doesnt help.?

have a good balanced diet, take your vitamins, do a weekly deep conditioner and hot wax treatment. Some people do things like washing with eggs or mayo for the health of the hair but thats all dependent on what type of hair you have. but if you start with a good diet you cant go wrong. what goes in must come out.

Any tips on how to make your hair grow fast? i get it trimmed about once every 2 months, but it doesnt help.?

every person has a hair cycle beyond which his hair dont grow that if u dont have any problems such as hair splits .and u can use castor oil its really good even for the eyebrows and theeye lashes

Any tips on how to make your hair grow fast? i get it trimmed about once every 2 months, but it doesnt help.?

first of all, is your hair thinning? If so, then the solution is within you. It might be a hormonal response to aging, or loss of estrogen. Too much testorerone.

I also heard an old wives tale about having your hair cut based on the lunar cycle. Cut while the moon is rising, hair grows faster, Hair cut when the moon is waning grows slower.

Try it

Any tips on how to make your hair grow fast? i get it trimmed about once every 2 months, but it doesnt help.?

Just because you get your hair trimmed does not mean it will gro. Your hair has a growing period, Anagen, Catagen, Telogen and back to Anagen. If you feel your hair is not growingas it should it may be because of your diet, medication you may be taking, hereditary factors, ethnic origin or even stress. If you want you hair to grow fast when shampooing wash with luke warm water or even cold if you can stand it-this gets your blood circulating, helping the hair growth cycle. You could also get scalp massages-once again this gets your blood circulation, helping the hair growth.

Any tips on how to make your hair grow fast? i get it trimmed about once every 2 months, but it doesnt help.?

Making your hair grow faster or slower comes from the inside, hon. Take a good multivitamin daily, drink plenty of water, and take gelatin capsules daily. Helps stregthen hair and nails and makes them grow healthier and longer quicker. Scalp massages also help some with getting more blood flow to the scalp and the hair follicles.

Vitamins for hair growth

Hair loss or baldness is caused mainly due to the lack of Vitamin B supplements. Vitamin B5 contains pantothenic acid and B3 (niacin that is vital for hair growth). B6 is equally important to the body, as it contains the nutrients of zinc, sulfur, magnesium and biotin.

An interesting fact about Vitamin B: Certain experiments were conducted with rats and they were fed with food that lacked magnesium supplements. It was found that they lost their hair in bunches and when they were provided with a low biotin diet they turned hairless. But to the surprise of all, their hair returned when they were fed with food rich in Vitamin B.

Any tips on how to make your hair grow fast? i get it trimmed about once every 2 months, but it doesnt help.?

yes stop washing it daily ,every second day is enough stress for your hair ,blow dry if you must with a cool setting ,eat loads of protein, good diet remember you are what you eat, also Argentine,pro-line,lysine and methionine are great for stimulating hair growth ,you can buy hair stimulator vitamins on e-bay with all of the above in it .I have been taken them for a month and i fell my hair has been growing that little bit faster ,remember you hair only grows around a half inch per month, also massage your scalp for ten mi nets 2 times a week that stimulates hair growth to ,in fact don't get you hair cut so often .A lot of people get split ends mixed up with dry end ,look at you own end and see how many you can find i bet there is not many .

My hair is layered, but you can't tell. Styling tips?

I tried flipping the different layers in and out and it didn't really do anything.

Styling techniques or products that might help?

My hair is layered, but you can't tell. Styling tips?

It may not be layered enough, but before you go back to your stylist, try these tips. Use some volumizing product at the roots of your hair before you blowdry. Try blow drying the longest layers with a rounded brush either out or under (your choice). Then use a flat iron to flatten your shorter layers. Finish with a styling wax or smoothing product on the tips of your shorter layers. Another option is to use large hot rollers and finger comb to get a body wave. If none of these improve the appearance of your layers, go back to your stylist for more layers and/or have her show you how to style your layered cut.

My hair is layered, but you can't tell. Styling tips?

Doesn't sound like it's layered enough........go back to your stylist and have them layer it more ....them use a terrorizing cream or wax all over it ......a little bit at a time scrunch it in all over....

My hair is layered, but you can't tell. Styling tips?

Depending on how long your hair is, you may want to get a body wave. That makes it easier to take care of layered hair.

If you staighten your hair, instead of going straight down with the straightener and trying to make your hair completely straight, flip the straightener out when you do it, so your hair flips out too, then finish off with hairpsray.

Makeup tips for fair skin and darker hair ?

i love my skin, its clear and a little on the light side during winter ( wicked dark tan during the summer )

i have big light brown eyes and small full lips..

remember, i never wear makeup soo i only want to wear a tan blush or something..

Makeup tips for fair skin and darker hair ?

I would use a bronzer and some lipstick. You have a natural beauty about you that you don't want to hide with heavy makeup. There are many companies out there that make bronzers. Use a natural-looking lipstick. If you can find one that matches the color of your gums, it will look natural on you. You can also choose to use a tinted lip gloss instead. It will look less "made up".

Does anyone have any tips on how to style my long curly hair?

i had long curly hair until i recently cut it all off. i found the easiest thing to do with it to make it look fixed but not really have to deal with all the curls was to tie something around it. if you cut a peice of fabric into about a 3 inch strip or get a very wide ribbon, you can tie it like a headband. i find that it works better than a headband because it's loose on the top so it doesnt make your hair poke out because of the tightness of the head band...if that makes sense. but i just tie it and leave the ends to hang underneath my hair.

I would recommend front hair smooth and stright,.

Comb it up at the temples to the top back of you head on each side and put a barrette in it to match what ever you are wearing. Should look nice.

Tips to look more my age?

Alot of people tell me that i dont look my age because i have a babyface. is there any makeup tips or hair tips anything so that I

will look more my age?? *im 18 but i look like im 12-14 years old!!*

Tips to look more my age?

That's a good thing. Wait til you get older, you will love when people say that to you.

If you want to look older there are several things you can do:

1. Dont wear your hair in a ponytail %26amp; invest in a trendy, yet sophisticated, hairstyle. Look for pictures in magazines %26amp; tell your stylist you want to look older. You might go for a shorter hairstyle, which tends to age people.

2. Wear makeup. Play up your eyes or your lips, but never both at the same time. Make sure you always wear mascara at the very least %26amp; a swipe of gloss. If you want to go dramatic, try a deep red lipstick, but don't make up your eyes too much. A swipe of mascara will do you. And try putting it on your top lashes only. Makeup will help 'age' you.

3. Dress like a 22-year-old college graduate. OK, you're a few years away from being 22, but still when you're not going to dance classes %26amp; you're going out with friends or shopping, dress like someone with a desk job would. Try heels, a sexy, but sophisticated skirt %26amp; a cool jacket.

4. Invest in Lucky Magazine. Lucky is a great magazine for stylish young people (%26amp; people in general). If you want to know what the hottest trends are, invest in this magazine, start studying the trends %26amp; adopt them.

Tips to look more my age?

It's not such a bad thing to look younger! Don't wear your hair in pigtails or anything like that. Hair has a lot to do with it so next time you go to get your hair cut ask for something layered if you've got long hair etc.

Tips to look more my age?

Enjoy it girl! Just wait until you are 40, you will be the envy of all of your friends!

Tips to look more my age?

black eyeliner can sometimes help. but you also have to accept your body and realize that you are how you are..and see the beauty in it.

Tips to look more my age?

Arch your eyebrows and put on darker shades of make up such as blush and lipstick. The eyebrow trick should do alot for that baby face.

Tips to look more my age?

Eyeliner normally always helps.

Tips to look more my age?

theres really nuthin u can do. jus wait you'll be a 50 year old lady that looks 25.

Tips to look more my age?

wear worky and cute cloths

Tips to look more my age?

I think maybe start looking at more sophisticated brands of clothing-- think the Gap or the Limited (or Express if you have the body type) and get away from Hollister, Abercrombie, and American Eagle.

I think accessorizing will help as well. Ask for money for Christmas and treat yourself to a purse from Coach or Dooney and Bourke :-)

Tips to look more my age?

Do worry about it, Just feel lucky. I'm 26 and I got told a week ago that I look 16. So nice to be told that. otherwise, dress like 20 year olds dress, like you're going to college, get your hair styled. Do your nails. Wear makeup, nice shaded eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick to match your skin tone, if you are fair skinned wear redish tones, if you are olive skinned wear mocha colors.

Tips to look more my age?

Wear a little mascara and a little blush and you'll look older. Also, definitely brush your hair straight back into a bun sometimes (not a messy bun - a neat one) - it's a sophisicated look. Also, wear studs more instead of dangly, drop, hoop, or chandelier earrings. A more sophisticated look will help you look older. Electric razors, hair, HELP!!!!!?

I am a female that has to shave her chin sometimes twice a day due to a severe case of PCOS which causes excessive hair growth. I was wondering if there was anything on the market, or any home remedies that can slow down the growth of my facial hair. I also need advice about electrical razors.. I am entering a 6 months treatment program and you can ONLY have an electrical razor. Is there one out there that can really give me a good, close shave on my chin??? Cost is not an issue. I want the best of the best that will really work and not leave any 5 oclock shadow. Any facial hair tips are well appreciated. BTW, the hair on my chin is thick, black and coarse so it is unable to be waxed.. and it grows so quickly that I have to sometimes shave twice a day.. HELP PLEASE!!! and also, how can i fight irritation, rash, bumps, etc?? I need something in a more mens strength. :(

Electric razors, hair, HELP!!!!!?

Ok. First of all, I understand where you're coming from because I have PCOS (although it's not that bad). There are products you can use to slow hair growth but you need a prescription for a doctor to get them. As for electric razors, I haven't found one that works well (on my legs) but I've heard that high end (meaning high price) Norelcos for men work. What I use to fight irritation is a product called "Tend Skin". It's fairly easy to find. Also, you NEED to moisturize and exfoliate your skin.

Re-tipping hair stylist?

I got my hair done on Friday, I was in a complete rush, so i didnt have her blow dry and style (which was included in the price) She still charged me full price, should i complain? Also, my highlights are far away from my scalp and look like they have grown out for 2 months already. I am going to complain about that as well, so when they re-do my hair do i need to tip again? I was thinking not since Its an inconveinence to me to come back and waste my time again since I already went and paid once. What if it is a different stylist then the one that screwed up?

Re-tipping hair stylist?

When someone opts out of the blowdry it is still the same price at my salon because it is a complimentary service that comes with a chemical. It would cost you for a blowdry at different salons ranging anywhere from 20-35$.

You should definitely go back to let them know what happened, and why you didn't like it. I am sure they will be more than happy to assist you in correcting the problem.

As far as the tip. You should not have to tip the stylist if you already did so the first time. But if you feel that she did such a good job and you came to an understanding about how you can avoid the prior problem then it is up to you to use your own judgement.

If someone else does the correction, they will be compensated by the previous stylist, (The money you paid to "sue" will then be paid to "Joe" For correcting) So again it is up to you on that one if she does a good job then why not give a tip.

Remembering when tipping a stylist they only make commision so they put all that hard work into your hair only to get less than half of what you are charged. Not a pity plea but thats just how most get paid. So when your stylist does a good job let her know!!

Re-tipping hair stylist?

No you do not have to re-tip. Its there fault that they messed up!

Re-tipping hair stylist?

You are not required to re-tip the stylist if she is fixing her screw up. She did it, you are complaining about the bad job, you are not entitled to re-tip her.

Re-tipping hair stylist?

is it your hairstylist you go to all the time? if so she should redo it for free and perhaps tip...otherwise, no, just pay of the redo-ing and maybe a shabby tip. Good luck!

Tips to look amazing when I go to school It's not my first day just tomorrow?

IWe aren't allowed to wear makeup and have to wear a uniform, how can I look hot when I go to school

Please give hair tips

unnoticable makeup tips (e.g. clear mascara, powder etc.)

anything else

I want to look to hot for words

LUV YAA!!

Tips to look amazing when I go to school It's not my first day just tomorrow?

my gosh. im starting highschool, and i have to wear a uniform too, but i can wear make-up. so anywho, try wearing chunky mascara, i know that doesnt sound nice, but it brings out your eyes sooo much, and it looks messy buy cute. use a light bronzer so your skin glows , or get that 'summer glow moisturize stuff' that stuff works, especially the dove kind. find an eyeshadow color that works well with your eyes, so it doesnt pop out, but other people can still tell your wearing some and it looks awesome. for pink lips, take your toothbrush and brush your lips , it makes then super soft and make them red a little bit, then put some chapstick on them. =]

as for hair, if you have straight hair, curl it, curly hair, straighten it, scrunch, messy bun with a cute head band, sometimes put your bangs back, and sometimes leave em down, change it up as much as possible, since you have to wear the same thing everyday, doesnt mean you have to wear your hair the same way.

Tips to look amazing when I go to school It's not my first day just tomorrow?

hey dont worry too much for the first day its going to be cahos and everybody is going to be trying to find their classes so nobody will be paying much attention on looks. Now on the second or third day thats when u should look hot for everyone

Tips to look amazing when I go to school It's not my first day just tomorrow?

if u cud wear jewelry get sum that stands out then hair wise u cud put ur hair into a hump into a ponytail or u cud curl ur hair but if u have real real short hair u could spike it curl it idk jus do sumthin to urself that no one has seen before

Tips to look amazing when I go to school It's not my first day just tomorrow?

Well u could wear some sparkley tan mascara...some lip gloss and some brown mascara

You could wear your hair either straightened, curled, or in a messy bun. Then also wear earings and a bracelet...then some sparkles around your neck

Tips to look amazing when I go to school It's not my first day just tomorrow?

I second the hair ideas: "hump" or "curled"

Tips to look amazing when I go to school It's not my first day just tomorrow?

clear mascara or brown is less noticable some pink ish lip gloss would be good and some bronzer but not too much

Tips to look amazing when I go to school It's not my first day just tomorrow?

curl your lashes and set with a small layer of brown mascara (won't look as fake as black) or clear mascara...

Straighten your hair, or if you can go to a hairdresser and get a blow-dry. They look amazing.

Wear some nice perfume too!

Make sure your nails are cut %26amp; clean and wear clear polish on them

You could also wear tinted moisturiser/sunscreen... just a little dab and a small amount of blush - just dont go over board!

And of course, some nice lipgloss!

You're probably gorgeous anyway and don't need to try ;)

Tips to look amazing when I go to school It's not my first day just tomorrow?

dont know wether you are aloud to wear your hair down at your school, but if so, have you hair down either straight or curly either way looks best,, n wear blush, powder, brown eyeliner, its not as noticeable as black, n clear mascara, it all works :))

hope i helped!

xx

Tips to look amazing when I go to school It's not my first day just tomorrow?

Maybe throw on a cute necklace and a pretty bracelet. Slick your hair into a ponytail and make a little pompadour pouf in front and secure it with a little hairspray. Finish off with a glossing spray and a cute headband. For makeup, keep it simple with either a clear mascara or a light layer that matches the color of your lashes. Sweep on a light layer of pressed powder and brush your cheeks with some bronzer to give a sunkissed look. Top off with a little clear or pale lip gloss.

Tips to look amazing when I go to school It's not my first day just tomorrow?

dude. we started the 13. yall r lucky

Tips to look amazing when I go to school It's not my first day just tomorrow?

I feel really, really sorry for you, because all you think of school is it being a place where you go to "look hot". I don't need a crystal ball to tell you your future. You won't learn as much as you could. You'll be too busy worrying about how to look much better than the other girls, and how you can possibly attract the most envy from them and the most attention from the boys.

You will go up through the grades, making very mediocre standards, and eventually scratch through to what is laughingly called "graduation". You will get some average kind of job somewhere at minimum wage, and somewhere along the road, you'll find a boyfriend, have sex, and may or may not get pregnant right away. But you will sooner or later. One way or another you'll end up with average, or below average level of education, and be a mother, with or without a husband. It won't matter at this time what you think "hot" is because you wont have the money for it. Your life will be now filled with screaming infants, dirty diapers, you'll be constantly broke, and your husband or boyfriend will be out there panting after the "hot chicks" who were like you used to be, but aren't any more. It never gets any better because YOU never did what you should have done years before. You were too busy worrying about what clothes to wear, and what hair-do to have, so you could look sooooo"hot".

The kids will grow older to where they are now teenagers or pre-teens, and you'll have to watch them going to s chool and making the same mistakes you did. You'll try to tell them, but they wont listen, and the whole story will start over again . You'll keep growing older, till your children have children and you'll be a grandmother, and you will be sitting alone a lot of times, thinking back over the years, and wishing you could turn back the hands of the clock so you could do it over again, differently. Print this out, and keep it, so you can read it as time passes and realise how good my crystal ball was.

School Uniforms - Skirting the Issue

Uniform skirts tend to be knee-length or longer, but if your school is a little relaxed about skirt lengths, then try folding down the waistband a couple of times. Just don't go overboard and roll up your skirt into an itsy-bitsy mini!

School Uniforms - Bling It On!

Bling-ify your uniform with jewelry! Pile on wooden bracelets, gold bangles, silver cuffs or jelly bracelets - but don't stop there. Necklaces, earrings, rings, watches and hair accessories are an awesome way to stand out in a sea of uniforms. Backpacks are another great way to express your personal style. Stick on funny bumper stickers or iron-on patches, attach funky pins and clips, or simply write on them!

School Uniforms - It's a Cinch

Cinch a belt over your blouse or sweater. Leave the studded, oversized belts for the weekends and opt for a simpler one. If a necktie is part of your school uniform, then whip it off as soon as the bell rings and tie it around your waist for a snazzy alternative to the classic belt.

School Uniforms - Knock Your Socks Off

Ditch those boring white socks! Instead, glam up your legs with socks in bright, eye-catching colors and pretty, patterned tights. Try plaid tights or leggings for a funky, punky look.

School Uniforms - Bottom Line

When it comes to school uniform policies, every school is different. Some are relaxed about stuff like untucked shirts, while others have rules set in stone and won't let you get away with anything. So before you brighten up a blah uniform, make sure your school allows it first. And if they have strict rules about the dress code, just wait until you're outta class to jazz it up.

Tips to look amazing when I go to school It's not my first day just tomorrow?

ahahaahaha ive seen ur face!!!!!!!!! its huge!!!!!

I have hair issues and a big face.....MAJOR help to the girls with same issues?

try only straightening the end part of your hair %26amp; maybe get some side bangs to cover your face.

I have hair issues and a big face.....MAJOR help to the girls with same issues?

Try getting some side bangs or layers to frame your face. It'll balance you out.

I have hair issues and a big face.....MAJOR help to the girls with same issues?

oh i know put ur hair back

I have hair issues and a big face.....MAJOR help to the girls with same issues?

The next time you get a haircut, you could ask the stylist to give you layers that frame your face well.

When you straighten your hair, just straighten the ends, not the roots. Use a curling iron or a rounded straightener to add volume to your roots.

I have the same issue with my bangs.

My hair is REALLY thin, how can I make it thicker? Any tips? PLEASE HELP?

My hair is horrid, all the other girls at skl make fun of it because its thin and horrible... please help

My hair is REALLY thin, how can I make it thicker? Any tips? PLEASE HELP?

Don't worry about those girls who tease you. One, because you are beautiful and two, because it causes you to stress and stress will cause your hair to fall out and become thinner.

There are several inexpensive things you can do from home to try and thicken your hair. Unfortunately, however, you will probably need to spend money on a quality, all natural hair growth shampoo and conditioner because traditional shampoos and conditioners found in stores actually damage your hair and do nothing for thinning hair. If you can't afford a good product, still don't buy anything from the store. Wash your hair with castile soap. You can buy that at a health food store for not too much. Also, deep condition your hair at least once a week with for 30 閳?60 minutes with mayonnaise and eggs. It smells horrible, but your hair will be grateful. Hair is protein, so to thicken it, you hair needs to get more protein. You should eat more meats, fish, poultry, and beans and drink more water

However, like I said before, you will probably need more than just home remedies to thicken and grow your hair. I suggest you begin using all-natural hair care products. Find a hair growth product that contains powerful essential oils, natural herbs, and vitamin rich nutrients your hair needs to survive. Look for products with ingredients such as: Aloe Vera, Citrus Fruits, Jojoba, Rosemary, and Sage. Make sure you stray away from all natural products that use natural extracts. Extracts are not as powerful as essentials oils. They are a cheap substitute for the real thing. Although there are several natural hair care products on the market, not all hair growth products are created equal. Make sure you read the fine print. Most 閳ユ笜atural閳?products still contain phosphates, sodium lauryl sulfate, petroleum, mineral oil, and other lab created humectants that ultimately damage your hair. My advice---if you can閳ユ獩 read the ingredients, don閳ユ獩 buy the product. When I was searching for a natural hair growth product, I found one really great buy, Beauty 4 Ashes Maximum Hair Growth System. Beauty 4 Ashes pretty much gives you everything you need to make your hair grow. The shampoo and conditioner is all-natural and contains hair growth vitamins, hair growth essential oils, aloe, and hair thickening nutrients. You can find it easily at www.discoverb4a.com. Also, check for it on Ebay. You may actually find a deal.

My hair is REALLY thin, how can I make it thicker? Any tips? PLEASE HELP?

For starters, if you do any types of treatments like perms or coloring that involve chemicals, stop. These damge hair and can lead to thinning. A good multivitamin can help get you thicker hair that grows faster. Look for one with a good dose of vitamin E. Also, drinking lots of water helps have healthy hair. Go to a stylist and see if she has any suggestions for cuts that will have more body.

My hair is REALLY thin, how can I make it thicker? Any tips? PLEASE HELP?

There's no NATURAL way to make your hair thicker. I'm sure that there are products that you can purchase that supposedly make ur hair thicker... but I personally don't think they work. If your hair is very frizzy, then I would suggest that you go and buy a few products. If you want your hair straight and shiny... then I would buy a product from Pantene (cheeper) or maybe John Freeda (don't know how to spell). If you use John Freeda's shampoo... then that will help conrol your frizz and keep it striaght.

But, you are probablly going to have to tend to your hair in the morning. Try blow drying it, then (if you don't already have one, buy one) use a flat iron. If you get a flat iron thats really good, it can also help contain your frizz. The whole straight hair is in today anyways.

And a little bit of talk from a person who has thick and wavy hair (me): Well, personally it can be OK or it can totally SUCK. When i wash my hair, its hard to get down to my scalp, causing dandruff. So yes, I have dandruff. And I have to use either Selson Blue shampoo or Head and Shoulders. I can never have straight hair, so i always have to flat iron it, which takes FOREVER! becuz of the thick hair. Sure, the wave is nice... but on really humid days... it turns poofy. The only time my hair looks decent NATURAL is when its really cold outside... and I live in Florida... so that doesn't work out for me.. lol...

GOOD LUCK!

My hair is REALLY thin, how can I make it thicker? Any tips? PLEASE HELP?

Here a few simple home remedies which can be tried at home to control hair fall. To treat hair loss apply a little lemon juice with some black tea. Massage well and shampoo.Rub oil into the scalp. Wring out a towel in hot water and wrap it on the head. Keep it on for 15 minutes. Shampoo and dry well. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

My hair is REALLY thin, how can I make it thicker? Any tips? PLEASE HELP?

there are many products of shampoo, conditioner, and styling products that make your hair thicker or appear thicker. i'm not sure how well they work, because my hair is thick, but it's worth a shot! also, when you take showers, blow-dry your hair. bend over forward so your hair hangs down, then blow-dry it. this makes your hair much fuller. then, if you're straightening it or whatever, keep the top near your part full, don't straighten it too much so it looks flat. that will make it look much thinner. really though, i find blow-drying your hair like i said to help make your hair look full.

hope it helped!

p.s. really don't use chemicals or perms or anything like that on it. don't dye it for a while to let your hair recuperate!! that stuff can damage it!

My hair is REALLY thin, how can I make it thicker? Any tips? PLEASE HELP?

A warm oil treatment will also help thin hair. Use warm almond, olive or coconut oil, and rub it with cotton wool. Leave it over night and then shampoo the hair next morning. Before shampooing if the hair is given a steam bath is helps the blood circulation and hair growth.

use neutral henna to get thicker hair
